As African-American homeschoolers, it is important for some families to utilize either an Afrocentric or multicultural approach to their children's learning. With this in mind we have put together some of the best resources we have found that were created specifically for multicultural and/or Afrocentric use. Please also visit our resource page for more information on heritage-based material.

If you are looking to find a complete curriculum for your children, we highly recommend Peoples Publishing Group. They have the best products available on the market that fulfill the need for quality, multicultural material.

Also, we recommend Morning By Morning: How We Home-Schooled Our African-American Sons to the Ivy League (left) written by home schooling mother Paula Penn-Nabrit for an inspiring read on successful home schooling from an African-American perspective.
